You’ll find endless ways to spend your time at the Hill Country Health and Fitness Center at Rancho Cortez. Our activities are part of the balanced fitness program at the ranch.

Work on fitness in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and in our state-of-the-art work-out facilities at Rancho Cortez. Get invigorated walking and hiking through the Hill Country State Natural Area, where beautiful streams and vistas greet you around every bend. Ride and exercise on horseback through over 40 miles of trails. And bring balance to your life as you learn new skills in our fitness classes held in the air-conditioned gym and indoor pool, which is heated during the fall and winter months! All activities are tailored to your individual ability and fitness limitations.

At the Hill Country Health and Fitness Center at Rancho Cortez, you’ll enjoy our delicious fitness cuisine. Get the fuel you need for your work outs with our healthy, tasty meals and snacks served in the ranch’s large dining hall. Learn about nutrition, too, during your time at the ranch. Discover the latest thoughts on healthy eating from our instructors. Swap ideas with other fitness guests. Be ready to take home your new learning and make it work for you at home!

Cooking classes may be offered during your stay, and nutritional counseling is also available.
